The Baths (Citrusdal)
Natural hot water springs of 43º Celsius are situated only two hours drive from Cape Town on a citrus farm in the scenic Olifants River Valley, near the town of Citrusdal in the Western Cape of South Africa.
Established in 1739 this self-catering resort, with handsome Victorian-style stone buildings, maintains an old world charm in a scenic, rural setting. Today the resort is run by the great-grandchildren of James McGregor, who bought The Baths on public auction in Clanwilliam in 1903. Zavora Lodge
Zavora Lodge is situated in the Praia de Zavora Bay, one of the finest stretches of coastline in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique
There is a reef about 500m from the lodge which forms a natural bay which makes for easy boat launching and great snorkeling.
The lodge offers rustic self catering sea-facing beach front houses, bungalows and campsites. We also have luxury sea-facing Double ensuite Rooms available.
Zavora has two very long, accessible reef systems. The "deep reef" system runs parallel to the coast approximately 10 kilometres off shore. Multiple dive sites have been identified on this system, varying in average depth from 24 to 45 meters. This reef system is quite literally packed with life, with enormous shoals game fish, Manta Ray cleaning stations and an extremely healthy shark population, including Bull, Tiger, Dusky and Blacktip sharks.

Overlooking the Langebaan nature reserve, this beautiful guest house offers outstanding views over Schaapeneiland and lagoon, with incomparable birdwatching opportunities.

Fish on Safaris | Safari & Combat Zambezi tigerfishing

Fish-On-Safaris offers all its guests a safe, secure African experience under the personal supervision of an experienced Zambezi guide. These fishing excursions are offered ten months of the year (June and July are excluded). Those wanting to take the challenge of the Zambezi Tiger should look to the spring season – September, October and November.
Guests will be accommodated at Island View Lodge, which is situated along the Eastern Caprivi upstream from Victoria Falls. This stretch of the upper Zambezi is well known for its excellent Tiger and Bream fishing, as well as its overflowing abundance of fauna and flora. Bird watching along this stretch is particularly exciting, with frequent Heron, Vulture and Eagle sightings being made.
After arriving at your private riverside lodge and settling in, an experienced Zambezi angler will brief you on the local river system, and the arcane art of Tiger fishing.
Island View Lodge is situated 10 meters from the river where our well-equipped boats will be docked.
To avoid the heat of the African day, angling excursions are at daybreak and the late afternoon. Each morning after some coffee and rusks, fisherman can expect to hit the water, rods in hand, for a couple of hours of exciting fishing along the mighty Zambezi River. Fishing is from 5 meter boats, designed to meet the local conditions, with the maximum of three anglers per boat.
